20th April 2012Hi folks,
Our new season begins on Thursday, 19 April. We have had to move venues as we have outgrown St. Lukes.
The new home for the choir is The Olive Grove Conference Centre and Retreat which is based in the former Regents College, Nantwich. The attached newsletter shows full details of the new venue and its location. The future is looking very bright with more enquiries during the Easter Break for performances and new members.
Historical Holly Holy Day parade rewarded with modern technology
2nd April 2012Pupils and staff at St. Anne's primary school in Nantwich have been rewarded for their involvement in the town's Holly Holy Day re-enactment activities earlier this year. There were many looks of admiration from onlookers as they took part in the "Through the ages" parade from Nantwich Museum to the Square.

12th March 2012Ten busy Level 3 Countryside Students from Reaseheath College recently planted no less than 5,000 bluebells to flower in time for the Queens Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
They are growing adjacent to part of the route of the Crewe to Nantwich Greenway, near the junction of Wistaston Greeen Road and the A530 Middlewich Road, in Wistaston and supplement several hundred young trees, planted in the same area by fellow students.
Nantwich Town FC holds first Christmas mini soccer competition
17th January 2012
Over 150 youngsters from across Cheshire, supported by parents and others, recently took part in the first ever Nantwich Town FC Christmas Mini Soccer Competition.

Organised by the football club and sponsored by The Rotary Club of Crewe & Nantwich Weaver, the day saw a total of 16 teams take part in 3 seven-a-side knockout competitions. Five teams entered the under 8’s competition, with another five in the under 9’s and six teams competing for the under 10’s/11’s trophy.
Rotarians support children's charities
21st November 2011Six charities have recently shared proceeds totalling £6,400 from the Rotary Club of Crewe & Nantwich Weaver's fundraising activities. This comes only 3 months after 10 charities received donations totalling £7,000 from the same club.
Big Cheese Film Club
30th October 2011Organisers of Nantwich Big Cheese Film Club are thrilled to announce the sponsorship of their next film by Mornflake.
With its many and varied scenes of domestic bliss, the club's up-and-coming film Another Year by highly acclaimed British director Mike Leigh is an ideal film for sponsorship by the Morning Food company which has been milling oats locally since 1675.
